This weeks Torah Portion is Leviticus 21:1 – 24:23

This week’s Torah portion teaches us to celebrate life. Many times the instructions of the Father can be interpreted as unreachable laws that tie us to bondage but if we really take the time to search out the deeper meanings then we will be able to break through to a life worth living, a life worthy of leading others into the celebration that awaits them.

This weeks Apostolic Writings is 1 Peter 2:4-10

We see in this week’s Torah portion that God had set a high standard by which the priests needed to live. He gave clear instructions on their appearance, their clothing, their duties, their wives, and every other aspect of their lives. We are a royal priesthood and a people for God’s own possession. We need to know that God expects of us to live according to His standard. It’s time for us as believers to think on what we wear, what we do, who we surround ourselves with and how we serve Him. Is it according to His expectations? Or do we need to change something?
