This weeks Torah Portion is Leviticus 16:1 – 20:27

When we are faced with the many instructions in the Torah we can often become confused about what we should or should not obey. This week the Father shows us His heart in giving us these instructions. Obedience to God brings us to a place where our lives become focused on seeking life. By living our lives in pursuit of life we fulfill our calling as Royal Priests.

The name of this portion means Holy ones. To be Holy is to be set apart. What does it mean to be Holy unto God? What is the essence of living a life set apart unto Him? Are we willing to make the necessary changes in our lives that will bring us to a place of being Holy before Him?

This weeks Apostolic Writings is Hebrews 9:11-28, 1 Peter 1:13-16, 1 Cor 6:9-20

In Torah we see that a new law is decreed every time someone sins. This law is there to remind people not to do certain things. In the renewed covenant, where Yeshua is our High Priest, we have His laws on our heart. It is important that we remember that we can only be a part of this covenant because of the extreme high price which Yeshua paid for us. He shed His blood so that you and I can now be saved, have God’s instructions on our heart and be priest with authority. Take up your authority today and take care of your body, soul and mind. You have been bought at a high price!

God expects of us to be holy. Why? Because He is holy! Being holy is not something that just happens by itself. We need to decide to live in such a way that we are set apart for Him and Him alone! Decide to keep away from the things of this world and decide to take care of your body, which is God’s dwelling place.  Don’t ever forget that you are His temple!
