The Bible specifically tells us that the menorah was made of pure gold and that the menorah needed to give light every day and every night. We also know that it was the only source of
light in the tabernacle! The priests needed the light so that they could minister unto God in the Holy Place. But what does that have to do with you and me? After all, there is no physical
tabernacle and no physical temple anymore… Or is there a temple? And does the light in that temple still need to shine continuously?
