The theme for the summer camp in 2021 was “Light of the World”.
We serve an amazing God! He sent us His Son to be our LIGHT, our example on how to dwell in His image from His likeness. But that’s not all! He calls us the light of the world and invites us – or let’s be honest – COMMANDS us in Isaiah 60:1 to arise and shine… He has taken us out of darkness, He has given us His Word, His Son, His Truth, His Life!! All we need to do is to let our light shine before men by doing deeds of righteousness so that He may be glorified.
In this dark world where it sometimes seems like darkness is exceeding light, we can rest assured in the knowledge that the Light Himself has already conquered darkness! And we can now spread the light of the Gospel to remind darkness that it has been defeated and to bring hope and restoration and LIGHT to others.
