Parashat Tetzaveh

This weeks Torah Portion is Exodus 27:20 – 30:10

The purist olive oil had to be used for lighting the Menorah. The Menorah was the only light source allowed in the Tabernacle. The Priests had specific garments, which they had to wear when they ministered in the Tabernacle. All of the instructions regarding the oil and the clothing of the priests are all connected with how the Father expects us to live our lives before Him today.

This weeks Apostolic Writings is Hebrews 13:10-17

Let your light shine through your deeds and thoughts, because God has given us the ability to clothe ourselves in righteousness, in fine white linen. We become a bride dressed in white deeds of righteousness as we daily take up our duties as priests in His Kingdom.
