Summer Camp 2019

The theme for the summer camp in 2019 was “Dwelling with Him”.

From 3 August to 10 August, 155 people from all over Europe and Southern Africa came together in Seelisberg, Switzerland, for our 8th annual Summer Camp Conference. We gathered around the theme of “Dwelling with Him” and asked ourselves how we can make ourselves and our lives available for God to live and move in and through our lives.

Various speakers spoke on this vast topic of dwelling with God. We also worshipped together, danced Israeli style with one another, ate wonderful meals together, stood in awe at the beauty surrounding us and were reminded yet again of how blessed we are, because we believe in a wonderful, loving and living God! We did prophetic acts together, such as visiting the Rütli and blessing Switzerland, Israel and the nations. We had fun workshops together such as “Blowing the Shofar”, “How to bind the Tzitzit”, “How to worship with various aids such as flags”, “Israeli sing along songs”, “Circle dances” and many more. We had a special guest from Switzerland who carved an eagle out of a log before our own eyes!!! We then concluded the week with a Shabbat celebration on Friday evening and Bar & Bat Mitzvah blessings on Saturday morning. Time went by so fast!

The overall feeling at the end of the conference can be accurately described through Psalm 133:  “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’ beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”
