The Menorah was crafted out of one beaten work, made of pure gold.
Revelation 1:20 tells us exactly what the Menorah represents: “The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.” The menorah represents the Ecclesia, but a specific Ecclesia. The menorah is in gold which means the Ecclesia needs to be glorified; needs to think and act according to the image of the Father and not according to any other image. Yeshua is the servant lamp and we are the branches. The menorah is one beaten work – it is ONE piece – and we as the body of the Messiah, as the Ecclesia, need to be of one accord regarding our vision and our values. The menorah looks more like a tree with 6 branches to the outside than the way we usually see it in pictures. Because the Bible doesn’t tell us exactly what it looks like, we can interpret it for ourselves, but seeing that the Bible speaks of branches and almonds, we have opted for a tree-like appearance.
