Hebrew: orot elim me’addamim וְעֹרֹ֨ת אֵילִ֧ם מְאָדָּמִ֛ים
Natural value: Used for one of the three outer layers of the tabernacle.
Spiritual value: A visible fruitfulness through the blood of Yeshua in my life
The word ‘red’ used here is the Hebrew word adom אֱדֹם and means ‘to show blood’. The ram’s skins speak about fruitfulness and the fact that they are dyed red, means it’s a fruitfulness through the shedding of blood. We read in Leviticus 17:11 that life is in the blood. God wants us to have and experience life and the life is represented by the red dye used here, by adam. Rams are associated with fruitfulness, they bring forth life and if you have a ram in your flock, life will be able to come forth. God is fruitful and in the covenant we have with Him, we will also become fruitful.
