Parashat Vaera

This weeks Torah Portion is Exodus 6:2 – 9:35

In this week’s Torah Portion we see that the complete plan of redemption is not just to get us out from Egypt. Full redemption and freedom is only once we have moved into that which God has prepared for us and that thing has become our inheritance. When we come out of slavery and into the plan of redemption we need to allow God to bring judgment upon our lives to deal with any false gods that we are allowing in our lives. 

This weeks Apostolic Writings is Romains 9:14-23

God promises to lead us out and also to lead us in. In the Torah portion we see the lengths God goes to, to deliver His people. He uses Moses as an instrument of deliverance. In the New Testament we see that God is still in the business of doing everything in His might to deliver us! This time Yeshua does a complete redemptive work and through Him, all who believe can be saved and brought into the covenant with God
