Hebrew word for Incense: ketoreth קְטֹרֶת
Natural value: The spices are for two purposes: For the anointing oil and for the sweet incense, which was to be burned on the incense altar in the Holy place. The exact same components were used for both applications.
Spiritual value: The spices are the characteristics of Yeshua and also speak of that, which He has come to accomplish in our lives. It also tells us how we need to walk in our spiritual lives and, when applied, causes a balance in our spiritual life where we are free from slavery. (What does Yeshua want to minister to us? Spices for anointing oil: The spices are connected to abilities which God wants to release in us through anointing. Fragrant anointing oil in itself does not perform miracles, but when we start applying the principles connected to the components in the anointing oil, we will experience miracles!
Spices for the sweet incense: The word incense simply means: Something, that is burning which causes a vapor to come from it and to fill the atmosphere around me. A study was done to test how far the fragrance of the incense would be smelt if one was to burn the exact amount which was burned in the tabernacle. The smell would be able to cover a radius of 5km, meaning all the people would be covered in that sweet fragrance. The components used would be able to disinfect the camp and to bring healing to the people.
